Hanoi youth warmly welcome soldiers to practice parades and marches
On the afternoon of June 6, at Hanoi Railway Station, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, personally welcomed officers and soldiers of Military Region 7, Military Region 9 and Army Corps 34 to the North to prepare for the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Even before the train arrived (3:10 p.m.), hundreds of young people – mostly women – were present at the main hall of Hanoi Railway Station to welcome the group. Many sang songs praising Uncle Ho’s soldiers and the homeland, creating an exciting and emotional atmosphere.

Major General Nguyen Que Lam, Director of the Department of Motorcycles and Transport, said that the unit had mobilized 114 cars with technical and safety assurance to pick up the soldiers to the assembly point. At the same time, coordination with Vietnam Railways was also closely deployed to ensure the safety of the troops.
In the coming time, officers and soldiers will enter a period of intense training, preparing for the country's important anniversary.
