Strong impression from 2 V-League rookies
PVF-CAND Club bravely accepted a place in V-League 2025 - 2026 after Quang Nam Club stopped playing. After the first round, that courage was rewarded when coach Thach Bao Khanh and his team won 2-1 against SLNA.
Another rookie of V-League 2025 - 2026, Ninh Binh FC, also showed their strength when they defeated a very difficult team, Ha Tinh Club, with a score of 3-1.
This result is a great recognition for the efforts and drastic investment of the two rookie teams PVF-CAND and Ninh Binh FC, making people think that the rookies will mostly be successful in staying in the league in the first season.

Even the way Ninh Binh FC's star players defeated last season's phenomenon, Ha Tinh Club, many fans believe they can join the championship race.
Promising exciting season
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Police team also marked their return to the top arena with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Hanoi FC, a team that had previously won almost all of their matches at Thong Nhat Stadium.
A new name of this year's season, Becamex TP.HCM Club even had the biggest victory in round 1 to temporarily top the V-League 2025 - 2026 table.

The series of impressive debuts mentioned above make the V-League 2025 - 2026 rankings very interesting, with 4/5 of the top positions being new names, including 2 rookies.
On the contrary, the bottom of the table is seeing three familiar names: HAGL, SLNA and Ha Tinh Club. The fact that former champion Ha Noi Club went empty-handed in the first round is still considered an accident and they will soon show their strength in the second round.
