In his opening remarks, comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, affirmed that Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development (Resolution 68) is a breakthrough in thinking when identifying the private economy as one of the most important driving forces to promote growth, innovation and integration.
In the process of bringing resolutions into life, the press plays a special role in shaping development thinking, spreading reform messages, encouraging action and providing constructive criticism for policies.
According to comrade Phan Xuan Thuy, in the coming time, the press needs to proactively participate in the implementation process of the resolution, contributing to transforming the spirit of the resolution into the language of life, into inspiration for development and into concrete actions in the business community and the people. At the same time, it is necessary to convey the spirit of institutional reform, encourage innovation, and promptly reflect on difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process to create a basis for policy adjustment.
Discussing at the seminar, Journalist Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper affirmed that as the main press agency of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and one of the major political newspapers of the country, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper determined that disseminating Resolution 68 is a key political task. Therefore, the Newspaper not only focuses on disseminating the content of Resolution 68, but also contributes to eliminating prejudices, connecting the people's hearts and the Party's will, adding confidence and motivation to the private business community.
Immediately after Resolution 68 was issued, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper communicated synchronously on print, electronic and social media platforms, with dozens of in-depth analysis, interviews and reflections on business practices. Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper continues to promote multi-platform communication, recording the voice of businesses from the grassroots, creating a flow of information between people - businesses - the State, the newspaper will also act as a direct bridge between businesses and the government to realize the resolution in life.
The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper also recommended that ministries, branches and localities closely coordinate with the press in providing timely information, creating conditions to recognize typical examples, receiving and responding to opinions from businesses in implementing Resolution 68.

Speaking at the seminar, Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, emphasized that in order for Resolution 68 to come into life, the press needs to make the policy come alive in social life through stories, images, and real people. Articles, reports, and television programs must arouse in the people and businesses a spirit of dedication, responsibility, and aspiration for development.
Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat noted that the press and management agencies need to coordinate closely from the stage of providing information to responding to public opinion, in order to communicate policies effectively, transparently and convincingly. This coordination not only helps the press fulfill its mission of communicating policies but also contributes to creating a favorable investment and business environment.
The seminar was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, an opportunity to honor the role of the press in the country's renovation, affirm the pioneering position of the press in spreading the spirit of Resolution 68, and accompanying the development of the private economy - one of the important driving forces of the national economy in the new development stage.
