Announcing the Decision on Vietnam Heritage Trees in Hop Thanh Commune

- On June 8, at Tram village, Hop Thanh commune (Son Duong), the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment, the Vietnam Heritage Tree Council in coordination with the People's Committee of Hop Thanh commune announced the Decision and received the Vietnam Heritage Tree certificate.

According to the records of the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment, the recognized heritage tree is a fig tree, located in the garden of Mr. Ha Trung Kien's family, Tram village, Hop Thanh commune. The tree has a base circumference of 5.1m and is over 350 years old.

The recognition of the fig tree in Hop Thanh commune as a Vietnam Heritage Tree is not only a source of pride for the people of Hop Thanh commune, but also demonstrates the efforts in protecting nature, preserving ecological values ​​and cultural heritage in Son Duong district in general. The fig tree plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, contributing to creating green landscapes and raising public awareness of nature protection.
