Ensure union members and workers have enough salary and Tet bonus

That is one of the key tasks in the upcoming Trade Union work, which was raised at the Conference of reporters and social opinion collaborators in the fourth quarter of 2023 organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) on the morning of December 23. Attending the Conference were comrade Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; reporters and social opinion collaborators.

Comrade Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, conveyed the content on enhancing the role of trade union officials in the new situation.

At the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor thoroughly grasped and oriented a number of key contents in the work of the Trade Union in the coming time, such as: Continuing to promote propaganda, thoroughly grasp and concretize the resolutions of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels to union members and workers in the area; propagating and mobilizing union members and workers to effectively carry out emulation movements, political tasks of each agency, unit and production and business tasks of each enterprise.

Along with that, the Trade Union organization continues to perform well the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; promoting the development of union members, establishing grassroots unions, and developing party members in the enterprise trade union organization...

Especially from now until the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor requests that all levels of the Union proactively coordinate with specialized agencies and employers to ensure that union members and employees have enough salary and Tet bonus; organize visits and give gifts to policy families, union members and employees in difficult circumstances. At the same time, strengthen propaganda to union members and employees about ensuring security, order, traffic safety, etc.

Previously, delegates were informed about enhancing the role of trade union officials in the new situation; security and order in enterprises and industrial zones; prevention and combat of high-tech crimes and protection of state secrets among workers, civil servants and employees.
