After merging the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Home Affairs has completed the organizational structure to perform the state management function in sectors and fields such as: labor, wages; employment; meritorious people; occupational safety and hygiene; social insurance; gender equality... Therefore, the workload of staff has also increased, in the first days when receiving the new field, they often had to work overtime. However, because the code for handling administrative procedures has been adjusted according to the code of the new agency, along with that, the factors of human resources, facilities, equipment and information data have been fully inherited, so the reception and handling of administrative procedures in recent days has been ensured to be continuous, smooth, effective and uninterrupted. The number of online public services throughout the process is increasing. The rate of public services with records submitted online in full and in part reached 94.1%; 100% of administrative procedures with fees and charges were integrated and implemented for online payment. Mr. Nguyen Viet Huy, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, said: After March 1, when new administrative procedures arose due to the restructuring of the apparatus, relevant units quickly took action to promptly implement necessary steps such as changing the seal and registering a second seal. This helps ensure that the process of receiving and handling administrative procedures for people and businesses is not interrupted. For services with a large number of records and high demand for resolution such as issuing and renewing driving licenses or issuing criminal records, the Center has proactively transferred them to appropriate competent authorities, helping to shorten processing time and improve service efficiency, not only helping the process of resolving administrative procedures take place quickly but also creating favorable conditions for people and businesses to access and use online public services, moving towards building a professional and modern administration.
