Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dang Binh inspects the progress of projects to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Accompanying were leaders representing the Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Finance, and the Provincial People's Committee Office.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed to remove difficulties in 02 urgent projects to relocate residents in disaster-hit areas in Dong Lac and Quang Bach communes (Cho Don).

In the morning, the delegation inspected the Ban Chang embankment project in Na Bjoóc village, Phuong Vien commune; inspected 2 projects for resettlement of residents in urgent disaster areas in Dong Lac commune and Quang Bach commune, Cho Don district. In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation inspected the project for resettlement of residents in disaster areas in Khuoi Luong village, Khang Ninh commune; inspected the project in Khuoi Slun village, Thuong Giao commune, Ba Be district.

The working group arrived to assess the situation in flooded areas in Nam Cuong commune, Cho Don district.

At the inspection, the investor and the districts reported in detail on the progress of implementation as well as difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing the projects.

The working delegation inspected the Project of arranging concentrated residential areas in urgent natural disaster areas in Khuoi Luong village, Khang Ninh commune, Ba Be district.

Speaking at the inspection sites, Mr. Nguyen Dang Binh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested investors to continue to closely coordinate with provincial departments and branches to urgently complete land and construction procedures to start construction next week. Resolutely handle according to the provisions of law any cases that cause obstacles in the process of site clearance and construction. Direct contractors to take advantage of favorable weather to speed up construction progress, especially urgent projects to relocate residents in disaster-affected areas so that people in disaster-affected areas can soon have a place to live and stabilize their lives./.
