Car suddenly caught fire on Nam Song Hau National Highway

STO - On May 22, on the Nam Song Hau National Highway, through Vinh Phuoc Ward, Vinh Chau Town (Soc Trang), a car caught fire. Initially, the authorities determined that there were no casualties, but property damage was estimated at about 350 million VND.

The incident occurred at around 12:00 on May 22. At that time, Mr. Nguyen Minh Teo, born in 1991, registered permanent residence in Ca Mau city (Ca Mau), was driving a car with license plate 69A - 094.43 on the National Highway Nam Song Hau from Bac Lieu province to Vinh Chau town. When he reached So Tai B hamlet, Vinh Phuoc ward, he discovered smoke and fire at the front of the car. Mr. Teo quickly pulled over to check, at this time the front of the car had burned completely. Local people supported him by calling the Vinh Phuoc ward police to mobilize forces to handle the incident. Afterwards, the Vinh Phuoc ward police and the Vinh Chau area fire prevention and fighting team arrived to put out the fire, at this time the car was almost completely burned, only the frame remained.

Authorities recorded that the incident did not cause any human casualties but caused property damage of about 350 million VND. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
