Speed up the progress of building land database to meet requirements in the new situation

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document assigning the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to advise the Provincial People's Committee to implement Official Dispatch No. 1974 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on accelerating the progress of building a land database, ensuring the correct content and time as prescribed.

Accordingly, to ensure the acceleration of the completion of the land database to meet the requirements in the new situation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment issued Official Dispatch No. 1974 requesting the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to closely follow Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo, the concluding opinion of General Secretary To Lam in Notice No. 03 dated March 6, 2025, the concluding opinion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Notice No. 56 dated February 23, 2025 and Directive No. 07 dated March 14, 2025 of the Prime Minister related to tasks and solutions to accelerate the construction and completion of the national land database; connect and synchronously share databases of sectors, to be completed before June 30.

Along with that, continue to implement the contents on building and perfecting spatial data, attribute data in the land database; the contents on information technology infrastructure, land information system software and related contents as guided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; proactively review and evaluate the software in use to select application software for building, managing and operating the land database to meet the requirements of state management of land at the local level, ensuring the function of connecting and sharing with other specialized databases, and integrating with the national land database. In case the software in use does not meet the above requirements, choose one of the software currently used in other localities that meets the requirements for use.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment assigned the Department of Land Management to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Digital Transformation to guide localities to review and identify the application software for building and managing the operation of land databases in use that best meets the conditions and criteria, creating favorable conditions for localities to choose and use to build and complete land databases on schedule.
