Over the past years, the Provincial General Hospital has actively deployed many advanced technological solutions in its operations, especially in diagnosis, treatment and administrative procedures to serve as a stepping stone towards becoming a regional hospital. The hospital has applied and integrated the hospital management system (HIS); developed smart medical services in online medical examination registration, looking up test results via mobile applications, cashless payments, etc.

Recently, the Provincial People's Council issued a Resolution approving the investment policy to build Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital into a regional hospital in the South Central Coast. The goal is to develop the hospital into a high-tech specialized hospital, taking on regional functions to address the urgent need for facilities in the examination and treatment of internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and pediatrics for people in the province and some provinces and cities in the South Central Coast region.
