Presented 134 gifts to the disabled

Leaders of Song Cong City People's Committee presented gifts to disabled people in difficult circumstances at the Program.

At the Program, the Organizing Committee awarded 134 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to disabled people in difficult circumstances. The support funds were mobilized from units, businesses, and philanthropists in Song Cong City.

The program “Sharing love, accompanying the disabled to overcome difficulties” is one of the annual activities, with profound humanistic meaning. This is not only a material sharing but also a source of spiritual encouragement for the disabled, helping them overcome adversity and rise up in life.

Song Cong City currently has nearly 200 disabled people. Over the years, the locality has always cared for, encouraged, and shared both material and spiritual needs, creating conditions for disabled people to integrate into the community.

The City Association of the Disabled has built a database system of information on people with disabilities in the area, as a basis for timely and effective intervention and implementation of policies for people with disabilities.
