Support over 43,000 women to borrow capital for economic development

On the afternoon of May 23, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Women's Union held a conference to review the work of the union and women's movement in the first 6 months of 2025.

In the first half of 2025, the Provincial Women's Union (PPU) proactively implemented a work plan associated with patriotic emulation movements, ensuring practicality, focus, strong orientation towards the grassroots and meeting the aspirations of members.

Outstanding activities were organized enthusiastically, creating an exciting atmosphere, connecting members, such as: Ao Dai Week, folk dance performance to celebrate International Women's Day March 8; a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Along with that, the Association continues to promote digital transformation and apply information technology in its activities. The work of supervision, social criticism, and participation in giving opinions on Party and government building has been effectively implemented, contributing to improving the quality of work.

The program to support women in economic development and building happy families continues to be innovated, achieving many positive results. Activities to support members in accessing credit and practicing savings are increasingly effective, with the total capital managed by the Association reaching more than 3.5 trillion VND, supporting 43,045 women to borrow capital for economic development.

At the Conference, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in union work, women's movements and implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee.
