Temporarily suspend operations at Blooming Tower Danang due to fire prevention violations

On May 21, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department ( Da Nang Police) handled administrative violations and temporarily suspended the operation of the Blooming Tower Danang building due to failure to meet fire prevention and fighting requirements.

Violations by establishments due to putting construction items or works into operation without a written approval of fire prevention and fighting acceptance. Pursuant to Point c, Clause 1, Article 17 of Decree No. 136/2020/ND-CP dated November 24, 2020 of the Government , amended at Point a, Clause 9, Article 1 of Decree No. 50/2024/ND-CP dated May 10, 2024 of the Government, stipulating cases of temporary suspension of operations.

Blooming Tower Danang project is invested by Korea Investment and Development Company Limited (Xuan Dieu Street, Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District). The project has 2 towers 37 floors high, not including the roof and basement, with an area of ​​over 10,700 ^m2 , and a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND.

The Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Da Nang Police) said that in the coming time, it will continue to strengthen fire prevention and fighting safety inspections and strictly handle violations; resolutely suspend or stop operations of establishments that do not ensure fire prevention and fighting safety and escape conditions; advise on organizing fire prevention and fighting safety inspections at establishments with high risk of fire and explosion, especially establishments providing dangerous services and street-front businesses.
