Forest fire warning

The City Forest Protection Department said that the weather in Da Nang is currently hot and sunny over a large area, with many dry days, and the risk of forest fires is at level III (high level, potentially flammable). The Forest Protection Department requested the People's Committees of districts, wards, and communes to closely monitor the implementation of forest fire prevention and fighting measures; prohibiting the use of fire to treat vegetation.

Forest rangers and forest management boards inform agencies, units and communities in forested areas about forest fire forecasts; prepare human resources, means and equipment for forest fire fighting; promptly report forest fire situations to the People's Committees of districts and the Forest Protection Department. At the same time, monitor and inspect forest owners in complying with regulations on forest fire prevention and fighting; coordinate with management boards of eco-tourism areas to monitor and remind visitors to pay attention to fire safety when visiting and traveling in the forest; strictly handle violations of forest fire prevention and fighting.
