As soon as the Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Exam ended with errors in the organization of the exam, the group of reporters quickly identified and persistently pursued information, analyzed and pointed out the problems from the errors in the organization of the exam to the appearance of an unusually uneven score spectrum, raising questions about the quality of the exam bank and the supervision of an external objective unit.
With the highest sense of responsibility, the article raised the issue of shortcomings, affirming that these mistakes cannot be solved by apologizing and must be thoroughly corrected.

The persistence of the press agency finally brought positive results: Ho Chi Minh City National University admitted its shortcomings, committed to reviewing the entire process, supplementing the question bank and especially organizing re-examinations for candidates whose test time was affected.
Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a decision on the plan to implement university and college admissions in 2026, emphasizing that it will monitor the organization of capacity assessment exams of higher education institutions.
This series of articles is a clear demonstration of the role of the press in demanding accountability from educational institutions, contributing to protecting legitimate rights and strengthening trust in fairness and transparency in examinations.
