The service stations are part of the Thuy Van road renovation project, with a total investment of nearly 1,100 billion VND, which started construction at the end of October 2024. Up to now, all 12 project items have been completed and put into operation on the occasion of the National Day holiday on September 2, of which some stations are still completing the display space. Located in the middle of the project, the "clam" station simulates soft layered clam shells, facing the sea. Next to it is a service cellar.
Along Bai Sau, 6 public service stations are arranged about 500m apart, with names: fishing village, clam, sea snail, cloud station, tree station and gas station. Each station is about 1,000m2 wide, designed with its own name and typical symbol of the sea area.
Visitors and residents are provided with free fresh water showers, toilets and changing rooms before 9:00 p.m. every day. Two staircases leading down to the service basement are designed as open space, without roof.
Below the basement, the restroom is fully equipped with modern facilities, including changing rooms, bathrooms, toilets... and dozens of lockers to serve visitors. Magnetic card swiping technology at the restroom entrance helps control entry and exit effectively and safely. About 600m from the "shell" station, the "tree station" with a hexagonal roof, inspired by tropical tree canopies, is being assembled to completion.
Like other public service stations, the floating space of the “sea snail” station is a place to display and introduce local specialties and serve visitors. The interior is designed with an airy space. Located at the end of Thuy Van Street, at the intersection with Nguyen An Ninh, the public service station named "gas" has been completed, standing out with its bright color scheme. Next to it is a walking path decorated with unique miniature landscapes.
By design, these 6 service stations, when operating synchronously, are capable of serving thousands of people at the same time.
In addition to public service stations, along Bai Sau there are also many stops to serve people and tourists coming to swim and have fun.
Mr. Le Minh Hau (35 years old, a tourist from Tay Ninh ) shared: "I have been to Bai Sau many times but this time it feels completely different. The public stations look very clean, the restrooms below are equipped with modern facilities, especially there are changing rooms so it is very convenient."
According to the leader of Vung Tau Ward People's Committee, the project to renovate Thuy Van Street was previously implemented by the People's Committee of Vung Tau City (old). After the province's merger, the project was handed over to the ward for management. After completion, the project has created a new look for Bai Sau, creating momentum for socio -economic development and local sea tourism.
In recent days, the cafe under the laden grape garden in Ho Chi Minh City has attracted a large number of visitors. After admiring and taking pictures, many people asked to pick fruit in the garden.
