Ho Chi Minh Museum holds Scientific Council meeting to review the Exhibition Outline "Hai Phong - Reaching for Heights"

On the morning of April 8, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Museum's Scientific Council held a meeting to review the exhibition outline "Hai Phong - Reaching for heights". The exhibition is a joint activity between the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Hai Phong Museum & Library to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and to welcome the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025.

Attending and chairing the meeting on behalf of Ho Chi Minh Museum were Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Director, Chairman of the Scientific Council, members of the Council, representatives of the Exhibition Department,Education Department of Ho Chi Minh Museum; on behalf of Hai Phong Museum and Library were Ms. Bui Thi Nguyet Nga, Director, members of the Board of Directors and some management staff of the Museum.

At the meeting, representatives of the Exhibition Department, Ho Chi Minh Museum presented an overview of the content, ideas and design options. The exhibition is expected to introduce more than 300 photos, more than 100 documents and valuable artifacts related to President Ho Chi Minh and Hai Phong city. This event not only contributes to fostering the glorious historical tradition of Hai Phong but also arouses the pride of the people of the heroic Port City, especially the young generation, in striving to achieve the city's development goals in the new era.

Commenting at the meeting, representatives of Hai Phong Museum and Library and members of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Scientific Council highly appreciated the research results and preparation of the Outline content of the Exhibition Room. The preparation team had carefully researched and closely followed the set goals. At the same time, meeting members also added and commented on the exhibition name, structure, layout, color and important contents of the exhibition.

Concluding the meeting, Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Director and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh Museum's Scientific Council, thanked the Council members and experts for their valuable comments on the exhibition outline "Hai Phong - Reaching for heights". The Chairman of the Scientific Council also highly appreciated the efforts of the group of authors in developing the exhibition content, and requested the group preparing the exhibition room content to fully absorb the comments of the members to complete the outline in order to bring the thematic exhibition to the public with the highest efficiency.

The exhibition is expected to open on May 8, 2025 at Hai Phong Museum and Library.
