Teamlab Planets - an art space in the center of Tokyo, is called by many tourists as a museum of light or a magic museum. The museum is nearly 1,000 square meters wide, different from traditional attractions because visitors will be able to interact in a world of light, color and images that constantly change when touching the works of art.
The museum first opened in 2018 and nearly 80% of its visitors are foreigners. Recently, images of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's son and his wife were recorded lining up to buy tickets to visit here. Many new areas in the museum opened at the end of January.
According to founder Toshiyuki Inoko, the idea behind the museum is to "change the perception of the boundary between us and the world".
Enjoy the works at TeamLab Planets, which offer visitors the opportunity to play and stimulate the senses. Each work on display is composed in harmony with nature through a combination of sound, images and technology.
The museum has many experience areas for visitors to walk through water or immerse themselves in works of art.
Admission to TeamLab Planets is currently 3,800 yen (about 650,000 VND) for adults, 2,300 yen (385,000 VND) for high school students, and 1,300 yen (220,000 VND) for children aged 4 to 12.
Visitors should book tickets in advance via the website before the day of their visit. Tickets are also sold at the counter, but customers have to wait a long time, especially on busy days, when the queue can be nearly two hours.
