Bao Thang increases health insurance coverage rate to over 92%

Communes, towns, agencies, units and organizations continue to coordinate with the district Social Insurance to promote propaganda and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and health insurance; People's Committees of communes and towns develop specific plans for each month, assign officials and civil servants to be in charge, and monitor each household in detail.

By the end of June 2024, Bao Thang district had 105,322 people participating in health insurance, with a coverage rate of 92.2%.

The district health sector focuses on improving the quality of health care, creating favorable conditions for people to access medical examination and treatment services. The Departmentof Education and Training coordinates with the People's Committees of communes and towns to ensure that 100% of students participate in health insurance.
