Storm Tra Mi changes direction continuously, may turn out to sea when approaching land

(Dan Tri) - Storm Tra Mi is moving abnormally. It is forecasted that in the next few days, the storm will move more slowly and may turn out to sea when approaching the central region of our country.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 a.m. on October 25, the center of storm Tra Mi (storm No. 6) was located at about 17.0 degrees North latitude; 119.0 degrees East longitude, in the eastern sea of the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 9-10, gusting to level 12. The storm is moving west, at a speed of about 10km/h. It is forecasted that at about 4:00 a.m. on October 26, the storm will move west-northwest, operating in the eastern sea of the North East Sea; about 490km east of Hoang Sa archipelago; Winds were at level 10-11, gusting to level 13. At around 4:00 a.m. on October 27, the storm moved westward over the area north of the Hoang Sa archipelago, at this time the storm was at level 11-12, gusting to level 14. One day later, the storm turned west-southwestward, operating in the waters west of the North East Sea, about 230km west of the Hoang Sa archipelago, and decreased to level 10, gusting to level 12. Due to the influence of the storm, the sea area to the East of the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 7, then increasing to level 8, the area near the storm's center will have winds of level 9-10, gusting to level 12; waves 5-7m high, the area near the storm's center will have waves 7-9m high; the sea is very rough. Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.
