Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Thu, former Chief Administrative Judge of Kien Giang Provincial People's Court, was temporarily detained by the Investigation Agency of the Supreme People's Procuracy to investigate the act of receiving 2.5 billion VND to help the plaintiff win the lawsuit.

On September 13, the Investigation Agency of the Supreme People's Procuracy has just issued decisions to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain the accused Nguyen Thi Cam Thu, former Chief Administrative Judge of the People's Court of Kien Giang province, to investigate the act of "Receiving bribes".

According to initial information, Ms. Thu received 2.5 billion VND to settle 2 administrative lawsuits of a plaintiff to help him win the case. The case is being further investigated by the Investigation Agency of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Regarding Ms. Thu, around April 2024, the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee proposed to review and discipline Ms. Thu for disclosing information about the results before the trial to the litigant, and for having multiple money transfers with the plaintiff.
