Accordingly, at 02:00 on July 27, 2025, during the patrol, inspection and control in the sea area about 150 nautical miles southeast of Bo De estuary, Ca Mau province, the Working Group of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command discovered and inspected a fishing vessel with suspicious signs, the vessel was captained by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang, born in 1981, with a permanent address in Tay Yen commune, An Giang province, with 04 crew members on board. At the time of inspection, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Sang confessed that the fishing vessel was transporting about 40,000 liters of DO oil, without documents proving the legal origin of the goods, for sale to fishing vessels operating at sea.

The functional forces of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command have drawn up a record to temporarily detain the vehicle, seal the goods and organize the escort of the vehicle to the port for investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
