Closing ceremony of the 2025 National Club Pickleball Championship in Bac Giang

On the evening of April 20, 2025, at the Bac Giang Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center, the Department of Physical Education and Sports in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang organized the closing ceremony of the 2025 National Club Pickleball Championship - Donex Cup. Comrade Mai Son, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and presented the awards.

Mixed doubles match at the tournament;

The tournament takes place from April 16 to 20, 2025, bringing together a large number of athletes and coaches from Pickleball clubs across the country. Athletes compete in 5 categories: Men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles; competing in amateur and professional categories; divided into 3 age groups (under 35 years old, 35 - 45 years old, 46 years old and above).

The tournament is one of the activities towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30 (1975-2025). It is also a playground for athletes to compete, demonstrate their talents, practice, and improve their professional skills; at the same time, it is an opportunity for athletes from clubs and localities to exchange, learn experiences, strengthen solidarity, and contribute to promoting the Pickleball training and competition movement to develop more and more widely throughout the country.

Comrade Mai Son awarded prizes to outstanding athletes in the women's singles under 35 years old, amateur category at the tournament.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 14 First Prizes, 14 Second Prizes, 28 Third Prizes in the professional category and 14 First Prizes, 14 Second Prizes, 28 Third Prizes in the amateur category. Although Bac Giang athletes did not achieve success in the professional category, they won 19 medals of all kinds in the amateur category; including 7 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, and 9 Bronze Medals. The athletes who won the Gold Medals include: Ha Khanh Linh (women's singles under 35 years old), Ly Minh Hien (women's singles from 35-45 years old), Ha Khanh Linh - Xuan Hoa (women's doubles under 35 years old), Tran Dieu Linh - Nguyen Phuong Thao (women's doubles from 35-45 years old), Ngo Thi Mai Hoa - Nguyen Thi Ha Long (women's doubles over 45 years old), Tran Mai Lam - Pham Khanh Hung (men's doubles from 35-45 years old), Tran Mai Lam - Ly Minh Hien (mixed doubles from 35-45 years old). With the achievements, the Bac Giang delegation won the first place in the amateur category. This result is very proud, has important significance, marking a new development step of the Pickleball movement in Bac Giang province today./.
