Newborn baby boy abandoned near a guild hall in Huong Khe

Ms. Dang Thi Yen - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Linh Commune (Huong Khe) informed that people had just discovered an abandoned newborn baby boy near the village hall.

The boy was taken to the medical station for examination.

Accordingly, at around 5:45 a.m. this morning (May 18), Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen, residing in Hamlet 2, Ha Linh Commune (Huong Khe), went to church and discovered an abandoned newborn baby boy near the village hall of Hamlet 2, Ha Linh Commune (Huong Khe).

Ms. Duyen then reported to the local authorities and, together with some local people, took the child to the commune health station for examination.

According to Ms. Dang Thi Yen - Vice Chairman of Ha Linh Commune People's Committee, the baby boy weighs about 3.4kg and is healthy.

The local authorities have made a record of the incident and temporarily assigned Ms. Duyen's family to take care of the child; and made a notice to find the child's relatives according to the law.
