The 11th Congress of the Hospital Party Committee has the task of focusing on intelligence, democracy, discussion, and making profound and responsible contributions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; at the same time, focusing on in-depth, objective and honest analysis of outstanding results, as well as limitations and weaknesses; summarizing lessons learned from the past term; clearly identifying goals, breakthroughs and key tasks, and solutions for the development of the Hospital in the coming term.
Speaking at the Congress, Dr. Nguyen Hong Truong - Party Committee Secretary, Director of Vinh City General Hospital emphasized that during the past term, the Hospital Party Committee has focused on leadership, direction, constantly innovating and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment. The hospital has affirmed its brand, being a trusted medical examination and treatment address for the people of Vinh City and neighboring districts of Nghe An and Ha Tinh .
Since the merger of Vinh Transport Hospital, the Party Committee has paid attention to directing and improving the professional level equally between the two facilities. The targets and plans during the term have all been achieved and exceeded. The number of patients has increased steadily every year and increased compared to the beginning of the term.
The hospital has deployed many new and specialized techniques, gradually meeting patient satisfaction; ensuring benefits for insurance participants.
The hospital focuses on building and developing comprehensively according to the "Smart Hospital" model, taking the application of information technology as a "breakthrough" in development.
In addition, the Hospital also focuses on improving the effectiveness of the following tasks: Disease prevention, scientific research, training, line guidance and hospital quality management.
Leading and directing the effective implementation of the national digital transformation program. Being one of the first 5 hospitals in the country to successfully deploy electronic medical records to completely replace paper medical records, becoming a model for digital transformation, building a "Smart Hospital" for medical examination and treatment facilities nationwide to visit and learn from experience.
Promoting the achievements, Vinh City General Hospital has determined the goal for the 2025-2030 term to improve leadership capacity and fighting strength, build a strong Party organization and comprehensive development, strive to achieve the standards of a smart, modern, professional General Hospital by the end of 2030; meet the medical examination and treatment needs of people in the area and neighboring areas.
Speaking at the congress, comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee acknowledged and commended the achievements that the Party Committee of Vinh City General Hospital has achieved; at the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Hospital will continue to be highly determined in leadership, direction, and organization of implementation; make the most of resources for construction and development; focus on a number of key contents: Specify the development strategy, have a specific roadmap, closely follow the targets and tasks of the health sector; Select a number of key, specialized, and forecasted fields of expertise as strengths and advantages to affirm and enhance the brand; Take care of building a team of doctors and medical staff to meet the high requirements in the current period, have solutions and mechanisms to attract good doctors and experts; Pay attention to investing in adequate equipment to meet the requirements of medical examination and treatment; take care of the work of building the Party Committee, building the Hospital and clean and strong mass organizations.
