In Tuy An Bac commune, the delegation inspected Phong Hau and Chi Duc villages. Reporting to the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of Tuy An Bac Commune People's Committee, Huynh Ngoc Han said: Currently, 20/20 villages in the commune are affected. The whole commune has 6,275 households with 16,540 people flooded; of which 455 households with 1,255 people have been organized to evacuate to safe places such as higher houses, flood shelters and village cultural houses.
Inter-village roads and national highways from Ngan Son village to Binh Chinh and Can Luong villages, and from Chi Thanh village to Chi Duc village, to villages in the old An Dinh commune, were completely cut off; National Highway 1 to Ganh Da Dia was flooded about 2 meters deep. The entire commune had no electricity.
Along Highway 641, land from the highway construction unit overflowed into residential areas and houses in the villages of Long Uyen, My Long, An Tho, Binh Hoa, Phong Hau, Phong Thang, Phong Nien, Long Hoa, Dinh Trung 1, Dinh Trung 2 and Dinh Trung 3.

At the destinations, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet directed forces, units, and localities to urgently evacuate and rescue people in flooded areas, with people's safety being paramount.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Currently, the flood situation is very complicated, the province has directed the mobilization of all military and police forces, mobilized assistance from Military Region V and support from Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai provinces, especially canoes to have means to rescue people in flooded areas.
The province requires Tuy An Bac commune and localities to proactively organize on-site rescue, mobilize maximum means of people to deploy rescue, bring people out of dangerous places, to higher and safer places to ensure safety of life.
Currently, the province has mobilized all of the province's food reserves, mobilized reserves from Military Region V, and proposed to higher levels for additional support, so that the province has enough food to distribute to people in evacuation areas, isolated areas... ensuring that people do not go hungry or thirsty.
