Specifically, the old DH42 route (from the old La Hai to Dong Hoi village) suffered a severe landslide at Suoi So bridge area, with a length of about 1,500m, the volume of rock and soil deposited up to 3,500m³. On DT647 route, the Da Mai slope in Phu Tien village, heavy rains caused rocks and soil to be washed away and deposited about 25,000m³, making it impossible for vehicles to circulate.
The most serious is the inter-village route from Phu Loi to Phu Hai and from Phu Loi to Phu Dong, where the flood eroded the road surface from 1 to 1.5m, many sections had landslides with a volume of about 65,000m³, completely cutting off traffic to the villages. Some rural traffic routes such as the road from Suoi Dap, DT647... also had many landslides, posing a potential danger when people move.

Chairman of Phu Mo Commune People's Committee Nguyen Duy Tinh said: In the context of traffic disruption, the Commune People's Committee has mobilized the maximum force of the Assault Team, Civil Defense Command, Commune Police, Commune Military Command and youth forces to participate in temporary repairs, set up checkpoints, and warned people not to go into dangerous landslide areas.
Previously, in order to prevent floods, the People's Committee of the commune had evacuated more than 400 households to safety. Damage assessment work showed that there were no human casualties, about 310 houses were flooded, the natural water supply system was damaged, some canal sections were broken, and 2 schools were flooded.
