Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Tam: Meeting with Tay Ninh delegates attending the "Sunflower" summer camp

Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Phan Thi Thuy Van reported to the Provincial Party Secretary about the content and program of the camp.

At the meeting, on behalf of the delegation, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Van - President of the Provincial Women's Union reported to the Provincial Party Secretary about the composition, content, schedule and activities of the delegation when participating in the camp. Accordingly, the Tay Ninh delegation attending the camp consisted of 9 members, including 4 godmothers, 4 orphans and was led by the President of the Provincial Women's Union.

The 2023 Sunflower Summer Camp is organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union in coordination with the General Department of Politics - Ministry of National Defense for 2 days (June 7-8, 2023) in Hanoi. The summer camp is for godmothers and orphans whose parents have died due to the Covid-19 pandemic nationwide.

Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thanh Tam presented gifts to delegates attending the camp.

During the summer camp, the Organizing Committee will organize a number of main activities such as organizing delegates to visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; Party and State leaders meeting and encouraging the children; organizing folk game exchanges, football exchanges with famous players; organizing knowledge and skills training for children, social work for mothers, career orientation for children...

In addition, the Organizing Committee also organized exchanges with typical mother-child pairs; announced the number of children continuing to be sponsored nationwide.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thanh Tam acknowledged the contributions of the godmothers, as well as highly appreciated the achievements in the learning process of the orphans and hoped that they would continue to overcome difficulties to realize their dreams and expectations, not only for themselves but also for those who have always cared for and shared.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Tam presented gifts and wished the delegation members a healthy, safe, meaningful and successful trip.
