With the consent of the Party Central Committee Secretariat and the National Assembly Chairman, Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri Province Le Quang Tung joined the high-level working delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam led by Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on an official visit to the Russian Federation from September 8-10, 2024. Accompanying the high-level working delegation was Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Lan Huong.
Implementing the working program, Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung had a working program with leaders of Gazprom International Company and Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) to exchange and discuss measures to promote the development of the Quang Tri gas-fired thermal power project invested by Gazprom International.

Next, the Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee attended the meeting between the National Assembly Chairman and Gazprom Group to discuss promoting economic and investment cooperation between Gazprom and Vietnamese partners, including Quang Tri province.

Previously, Quang Tri Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung attended the flower offering ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh Monument in Moscow; visited and met with staff of the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation; attended the third meeting of the Vietnam-Russia Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee and participated in many other important activities as assigned by the National Assembly Chairman.
