A newly released RUTI report says demand for travel is rising sharply, especially ahead of school holidays.
Major resorts in Vietnam have reportedly stabilized quickly after Typhoon Kalmaegi.
The situation is under control, with residents and local authorities quickly overcoming the consequences of the storm, said Andrey Podkolzin, Director of Public Relations of ITM Group.
During the storm in the Central region, tourists were not affected thanks to the local authorities promptly providing information, helping both locals and tourists take measures to ensure safety.
The number of international visitors to Vietnam in October 2025 is estimated at 1.7 million, up 13.8% compared to September 2025 and up 22.1% over the same period in 2024.
The total number of arrivals in the first 10 months of 2025 is estimated to reach 17.2 million, an increase of 21.5% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, the number of Russian visitors to Vietnam reached 501,695, a strong growth of 361% over the same period in 2024.
