In recent times, the Karate training movement to improve physical fitness, improve health, and develop talents in the province has developed. Currently, the Quang Tri Karate Federation has 105 clubs with about 8,500 martial artists participating in regular training.

During the past term, the Quang Tri Provincial Karate Federation has successfully organized many grassroots tournaments at the club and provincial levels; provided professional support and advice to the provincial sports sector to organize, train and participate in national and regional high-performance sports karate competitions such as: National Karate Championship, National Youth Karate Championship; National Karate Club Cup, Central and Central Highlands Karate Championship, winning a total of 37 gold medals; 56 silver medals and 126 bronze medals.

At the congress, delegates discussed and clarified the achievements as well as some limitations in the activities of the Quang Tri Provincial Karate Federation in the past term, and agreed on the goals for the 2025-2030 term, which are: developing the karate movement widely in the province; striving to have 10,000 martial artists participating in regular training; building a team of highly qualified coaches; paying attention to the youth and students with the aim of improving the quality of the movement and creating a source of karate talent, building the provincial karate team.

On this occasion, the Director of the Vietnam Sports Department awarded certificates of merit to 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing, training, and developing the karate movement in the locality and the Central region in the period of 2020 - 2025; Quang Tri Provincial Karate Federation awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 10 individuals for their achievements in building and developing the movement.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Karate Federation for the first term of 2025 - 2030, consisting of 57 members. Mr. Pham Sac Long holds the position of Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Karate Federation.

The congress also launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions who were severely affected by floods.
