BIDV organizes Japanese customer conference in 2023

At the conference, experts and businesses shared and discussed the world economic situation, the level of impact on Vietnam; the Vietnamese Government's business support policies in the current period; Vietnam's strong commitments in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, towards the goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050...

Overview of the 2023 Japan Customer Conference.

The conference also discussed the coordination mechanism between JBIC and BIDV in providing sustainable financial solutions for businesses. From there, businesses can consider appropriate directions to adapt to the movement of the economy; join hands to promote a green and sustainable economy in Vietnam in particular and the world in general. On the sidelines of the conference, BIDV and 13 Japanese banks also arranged 110 networking sessions between Japanese customers attending the event.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Ngoc Lam - General Director of BIDV, emphasized: “ With the goal of accompanying and supporting Japanese investors in Vietnam, BIDV always strives to coordinate with Japanese partner banks to provide banking products and services with good quality and competitive prices. In particular, to date, BIDV has signed cooperation agreements with 33 banks in Japan; and is receiving 11 officers dispatched from partner banks to work at BIDV to coordinate the provision of comprehensive, effective and sustainable financial solutions to serve Japanese customers during their operations in Vietnam.

The Japanese Customer Conference, held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, is a meaningful program, highly appreciated by Japanese customers.
