At the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards World Cup 2025, Tran Quyet Chien reached the semi-finals and tied for third place.

Specifically, the World Cup billiards rounds will be held in Belgium, Korea and Egypt, in October, November and December respectively. These are opportunities for Tran Quyet Chien to seek his first championship title in 2025, and at the same time accumulate points on the overall ranking (calculating the total points of 7 World Cup billiards rounds to find the best player of the year). After 4 rounds of the World Cup billiards since the beginning of 2025, the only Vietnamese player to have won the championship is Tran Thanh Luc. The player born in 1990 won the championship at the World Cup billiards Bogota 2025, which took place in March in Colombia. Thanh Luc defeated veteran Turkish player Tasdemir Tayfun in the final match. This is the first World Cup billiards championship in the career of the player from Binh Duong .
