(QBĐT) - The Department of Industry and Trade has just issued Official Dispatch No. 607/SCT-TM, dated April 16, 2024, on ensuring goods and stabilizing the market during the Hung Kings' death anniversary (March 10 of the lunar calendar), Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30), International Labor Day (May 1) and peak tourism season.
The Department of Industry and Trade requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to closely monitor the market situation and commodity prices in the area, ensuring adequate supply of goods to the market; requiring businesses to commit to stabilizing prices, preventing speculation, hoarding of goods and unreasonable price increases.

Guide and urge local agencies and functional units to coordinate with the market management team to strengthen market inspection and control while promoting communication, propaganda, dissemination and guidance to raise awareness of compliance with legal regulations and continue to respond effectively to the Campaigns "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", " Quang Binh people prioritize using Quang Binh goods".
For commercial businesses, supermarkets, shopping malls, and department stores in the province, it is necessary to proactively develop and implement plans to supply goods, stabilize the market, ensure smooth circulation of goods from production to consumption, and fully meet the consumption needs of people and tourists in the province.
The Department of Industry and Trade also requested businesses to increase consumer appreciation activities through promotional and discount programs to stimulate consumption, especially Vietnamese goods, goods produced in the province, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products of Quang Binh province; absolutely do not trade or sell goods that do not ensure food hygiene and safety, or have unknown origins; strictly implement regulations on food safety and quality measurement in business activities.
