The People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province issued Plan No. 1309/QD-TTg dated September 5, 2017 and Directive No. 34/CT-TTg dated December 21, 2021 of the Prime Minister to include human rights in the curriculum ofeducational institutions in the province. [caption id="attachment_604128" align="alignnone" width="768"] Binh Phuoc includes human rights content in the education program in the national education system for the period 2023-2025.[/caption] Propagate, disseminate, and educate human rights to create a change in the awareness of learners, teachers, and educational managers about the importance, awareness of self-protection of their own rights, respect for human dignity and freedoms; awareness of the responsibility and obligations of citizens towards the state and society, contributing to the comprehensive development of Vietnamese people to meet the requirements of integration and sustainable development of the country. Gradually promote the respect and implementation of human rights among students, contributing to creating an educational environment towards the comprehensive development of people in the national education system. The objective of the plan is to deploy training, fostering, and training on human rights knowledge for all educational management staff, lecturers, and teachers at all levels and grades of educational institutions in the province. Strive by 2025, 100% of management staff, lecturers, and teachers directly involved in teaching human rights in educational institutions will be trained and fostered. Implement the use of textbooks, curricula, and reference materials on human rights for teaching and training according to prescribed programs, suitable for each level and training level. Strive by 2025, 100% of educational institutions in the province will organize human rights education for learners in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs . To achieve the above objectives, the Provincial People's Committee has set out key and specific tasks and solutions to effectively implement this Project. In particular, strengthen the work of propaganda and education on human rights. Continue to thoroughly grasp and implement well the directive documents of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee on human rights and human rights education. Promote theoretical research, summarize practical experience on the struggle and protection of human rights as a basis for teaching and learning about human rights in the national education system. Disseminate reference materials and information related to human rights to leaders, managers, lecturers, teachers, and staff at all levels, grades, and fields of study. Organize training, seminars, and open training courses on basic topics on human rights. Carry out communication activities on the topic of human rights and human rights education; widely propagate the meaning and importance of including human rights content in the education program in the national education system. At the same time, organize research and evaluate the current status of human rights teaching content in the training programs of all levels and fields of study in the national education system to propose and recommend supplements and integration into the training program in a manner appropriate to actual requirements. Organize research and evaluate the current status of the team of teachers, lecturers, managers and teaching methods of human rights education content; develop appropriate training and fostering content and programs to improve the qualifications and capacity of teaching human rights for the team of teachers and education managers at all levels and fields of study. Implement programs, curricula, and textbooks with human rights content. Deploy teaching of human rights content in the curriculum of subjects (Ethics; Civic Education; Economic and Legal Education) that have been oriented on content in the innovation of the general education program (Comprehensive Program). Strengthen facilities and equipment serving human rights teaching in educational institutions in the province. Supplement necessary equipment, facilities, textbooks, instruction materials, reference materials serving the teaching, learning and research on human rights in educational institutions. Build sources of documents and learning materials on human rights education in libraries of educational institutions to ensure timely service for the research and learning of educational managers, lecturers, teachers, students. Posting human rights education content to serve the information access needs of schools, staff, lecturers, teachers, students./.
