
Ch'om Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities currently has 44 administrators, teachers and staff, teaching and caring for 320 students; of which more than 200 are boarding students from grades 3 to 9, mainly children of ethnic minorities in Hung Son commune.
At the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tuan sent his congratulations to the school and acknowledged the spirit of overcoming difficulties and the dedication of the teaching staff when staying at the school and classroom at the border.
At the same time, he emphasized that the silent sacrifices of teachers not only bring knowledge, but also contribute to building a solid foundation of people's hearts in the border areas of the Fatherland.
Sharing the difficulties of the school at a time when the locality has just been heavily affected by heavy rains and landslides, the working group presented gifts on November 20, supported instant noodles, dry food and many essential necessities; contributing to ensuring meals and living conditions for students.

On the same day, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tuan visited, presented gifts and provided necessities to the Military Command of Hung Son commune. Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tuan praised the unit's efforts in not fearing danger and constantly maneuvering in bad weather conditions; at the same time, encouraged the force to continue promoting a sense of responsibility and providing good support for search and rescue operations in the area.
Previously, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tuan came to burn incense, offer condolences and encourage the families of the victims in Put village - the place that suffered the most damage in the recent landslide.
