The sports delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command won third prize among 9 participating provinces and cities.
The delegation also won 1 third prize for individuals in the K54 pistol shooting event, lesson 2 (for women); 1 second prize for individuals in the AK submachine gun shooting event, lesson 1 for male militia and self-defense forces and 1 third prize for individuals in the AK submachine gun shooting event, lesson 2 for female militia and self-defense forces.
The military shooting competition took place from June 6-12 at the shooting range of Military Region 3. Participating in the competition were 34 agencies and units under Military Region 3, divided into many competing groups.
The sports festival aims to evaluate the results of military shooting training for the main force, local forces, militia and self-defense forces in the armed forces of Military Region 3, as a basis for drawing experience to continue directing the improvement of training quality, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Through the sports festival, athletes with high achievements are selected to form a Military Region 3 team to participate in the competition at the army level and achieve high rankings.
