Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 3, delivered a speech at a meeting with numerous central, military, and local press agencies in the military region.

On the morning of January 17th, the Command of Military Region 3 held a meeting with numerous central, military, and local press agencies within the military region.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 3, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the coordinated dissemination of information on national defense and military tasks by central, military, and local press agencies in the military region in 2024.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong suggested that in 2025, press agencies should continue to closely coordinate and widely disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and directives and resolutions at all levels regarding national defense and military tasks. He also emphasized the need for close cooperation with the Political Department, the Military Commands of provinces and cities, and the Military Region 3 Newspaper to improve the quality of special sections and columns on national defense.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 3, presented certificates of commendation to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in coordinating the dissemination of information on national defense and military tasks of the armed forces in the military region in 2024.

Propaganda activities include training, combat readiness, drills, competitions, and sports events at all levels. The campaign to promote the results of the "Determined to Win" emulation movement, linked with the "Promoting Tradition, Contributing Talents, and Upholding the Name of Uncle Ho's Soldiers" movement in the new era, highlights good examples and good deeds; and commemorates the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); and National Day on September 2nd...

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Command of Military Region 3, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong expressed his hope that the armed forces would continue to receive the attention and close, comprehensive, and effective cooperation of the press agencies, contributing to encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers of the armed forces in the military region to overcome all difficulties and strive to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks.

In 2024, central, military, and local press and television agencies in Military Region 3 produced over 9,700 journalistic works publicizing the activities of the armed forces of Military Region 3. The content reflected a fairly comprehensive and balanced range of work, with a focus on key areas, closely adhering to the practical situation and political tasks of the armed forces of the military region.

Notable activities include disseminating information about training, combat readiness, disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, especially the prevention and mitigation of the consequences of Typhoon No. 3 by the armed forces; the Emulation Congress for Victory of the armed forces of the military region for the period 2019-2024; competitions and sports events; the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024)...

On this occasion, the Command of Military Region 3 awarded certificates of commendation to 9 collectives and 3 individuals for their outstanding achievements in coordinating the dissemination of information on national defense and military tasks of the armed forces in the military region in 2024.
