On the morning of January 17, the Military Region 3 Command held a meeting with many central, military, and local press agencies in the military region.
Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 3, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of coordination in propagating defense and military tasks of central, military, and local press agencies in the military region in 2024.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong suggested that in 2025, press agencies continue to closely coordinate and widely propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, directives and resolutions at all levels on national defense and military tasks. Pay attention to and closely coordinate with the Political Department, Military Commands of provinces and cities, and Military Region 3 Newspaper to improve the quality of specialized pages and columns on National Defense.
Propaganda on training, combat readiness, drills, competitions, and sports events at all levels. Promote propaganda on the results of the emulation movement "Determined to Win" associated with the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period, good people, good deeds; activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 80 years of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2, etc.
On behalf of the Party Committee and the Military Region 3 Command, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong hopes that the armed forces will continue to receive attention and close, comprehensive and effective coordination from the press agencies, contributing to encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers of the military region's armed forces to overcome all difficulties and strive to excellently complete assigned tasks.
In 2024, the central, military and local press and television agencies in the military region had more than 9,700 press works to propagate the activities of the armed forces of military region 3. The content reflected quite comprehensively and evenly on all aspects of work, with focus and key points, closely following the practical situation and political tasks of the armed forces of the military region.
