(NADS) - Due to the need to prioritize time for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to focus on treatment, the Politburo has assigned President To Lam to preside over the work of the Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat.
On July 18, the Party Central Office issued Official Dispatch No. 10610-CV/VPTW to news agencies, newspapers, radio stations and the Central Propaganda Department, announcing the Politburo 's announcement on the health of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
This document clearly states that recently, at the request of the Central Council for the Protection of Officials' Health, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has been both managing work and providing treatment and health care. The Politburo, the Secretariat, key leaders and the Standing Secretariat have directly directed specialized agencies to focus on mobilizing a team of professors, doctors, medical staff, leading experts and the most favorable conditions to treat and care for the General Secretary's health.
Up to now, due to the need to continue to prioritize time for the General Secretary to focus on active treatment and to ensure the general management of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat, the Politburo has assigned President To Lam to preside over the work of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat according to the responsibilities and powers prescribed by the Politburo.
The Politburo called on the entire Party, people and army to have absolute confidence in the Party's leadership and State's management, to strengthen solidarity, unity and solidarity, to join hands and continue to promote the important and comprehensive results and achievements that our country has achieved, to strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and to successfully complete the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress.
The Politburo also called for maintaining political stability, firmly protecting independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security, social order and safety, promoting socio-economic development, and taking good care of the people's spiritual and material lives.
