Khanh Hoa Border Guard continues to support people in flood-affected areas to return to normal life.

On the morning of November 23, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard mobilized nearly 500 officers and soldiers, along with 32 specialized vehicles to key areas, coordinating with other forces to organize emergency relief for people in flood-hit areas.

The working groups have focused on supplying food, provisions, and necessities to the people. As of this morning, the units have coordinated the transportation and distribution of more than 10,000 food rations. In addition, they have mobilized forces to help more than 20 schools, medical centers, and over 100 households clean up and sanitize their houses and facilities, ensuring conditions for people to quickly stabilize their lives and for educational and medical facilities to quickly resume operations.

On the same morning, Colonel Nguyen Doan Hoa - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard directly visited and encouraged the families of soldiers in the unit who suffered heavy losses after the recent floods.

At the places visited, the Provincial Border Guard Political Commissar shared the difficulties and gave emergency support gifts, encouraging the soldiers and their families to overcome the difficulties soon. The Provincial Border Guard will continue to review and propose additional forms of support to ensure the lives of the families of officers and soldiers after the natural disaster. Border guards continue to proactively help people overcome the consequences of floods and ensure safety in the border area.
