The Ministry of Education and Training has just sent an official dispatch to its units and units directly under the Ministry regarding the promotion of prevention and handling of high-tech activities in cyberspace to commit fraud and property appropriation.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training directed units to step up propaganda, dissemination and legal education for educational management staff, teachers, students, trainees and students on identifying methods and tricks of property fraud criminals, and on managing and protecting personal data.

At the same time, the Ministry thoroughly implements regulations on cyber security and is vigilant against the methods and tricks of criminals using high technology, taking advantage of cyberspace to appropriate property. The Ministry of Education and Training especially warns against tricks of enticing and luring students, educational administrators, and teachers to open bank accounts and mobile phone subscriptions to commit illegal acts.
