The circular was issued to meet the requirements of discovering and nurturing students with talent and passion for specialized fields, while specifying the orientation for developing key education , effective from October 15.
Orientation for students specializing in exploiting and using artificial intelligence
Accordingly, the circular includes the advanced education program of 15 subjects taught at specialized high schools, including: Literature, Mathematics, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, English, German, Russian, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean).
Specialized subjects are built in an advanced direction from the current program (Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDĐT), not expanding beyond the knowledge framework, but approaching international, updating new educational trends. The learning content is aimed at training key players, discovering talents and serving domestic and international excellent student competitions.
Teaching time for specialized subjects: Literature, Math, English, German, Russian, French, Chinese, Korean and Japanese: 70 periods/school year; History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Informatics: 52 periods/school year.
The program includes compulsory and optional content, of which the optional part accounts for about 20% of the duration. Natural science subjects enhance practice, experiments, application of information technology and orient students to use artificial intelligence (AI).
Students are trained in self-study, critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and develop subject-specific thinking skills.

Teacher development and human resource orientation
The Ministry of Education and Training said that the advanced program has a deep academic orientation, requiring teachers to have solid professional capacity, broad and deep knowledge of the subject, proficiency in active teaching methods, integration and scientific research, and development of students' capacity. Teachers will guide students to carry out learning projects, research, participate in excellent student competitions and international competitions.
For students, the program helps develop logical, creative, and critical thinking, while forming a clear career path through career-oriented learning content.

The Circular also lays the foundation for early training of potential human resources in key areas such as science - technology, innovation, economics - finance, diplomacy, and elite education.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, in the context of the country promoting innovation and international integration, standardizing advanced education programs is an important step to develop high-quality human resources, ensuring fairness and long-term strategic orientation for key education.
