Appointing 7 senior prosecutors, considering awarding medals to 1 police lieutenant colonel

Accordingly, on November 14, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint the position of Senior Procurator.

The ceremony was held in both live and online formats, connecting from the Supreme People's Procuracy to other points in the industry.

At the conference, Mr. Tang Ngoc Tuan - Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the decisions of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the appointment of 7 individuals to the position of Senior Prosecutor, including:

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Duong - Intermediate Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of Hai Duong Provincial People's Procuracy;

Mr. Duong Xuan Sanh - Intermediate Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of Quang Tri Provincial People's Procuracy;

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Han - Intermediate Prosecutor, Principal of the School of Training and Fostering Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City;

Mr. Ho Thanh Hai - Intermediate Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Procuracy;

Ms. Le Thi Kieu Nga - Senior Investigator, Deputy Head of the Department of Prosecution and Investigation Supervision of Security Cases, Supreme People's Procuracy;

Mr. Huynh Dong Bac - Intermediate Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of An Giang Provincial People's Procuracy;

Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang - Intermediate Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutor of Dong Nai Provincial People's Procuracy.

The decisions take effect from November 16, 2023.

Mr. Le Minh Tri - Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy - emphasized that the appointment as Senior Prosecutor is a recognition of the training, efforts and contributions of the above individuals to the development of the unit and the industry in recent times.

Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy Le Minh Tri requested the senior prosecutors appointed this time to fulfill their oath; always be exemplary in work as well as in life; promote the spirit of solidarity, role, responsibility, and mettle of a leader, fulfill their tasks well, and be worthy of the trust of the Party, State, people and the entire People's Procuracy sector.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Duong - Chief Justice of Hai Duong Provincial People's Procuracy read the oath: Absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, devotedly serving the people; Uncompromisingly fighting all crimes and violations of the law.

Also last week, the Ministry of Public Security organized a public consultation on rewards for individuals.

Awarding the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thai Hop - Head of the Economic Police Department, Thai Binh Provincial Police.

Awarding the title of National Emulation Fighter to Lieutenant Colonel Vu Duy Tu - Head of Department, Training Quality Assurance Department, People's Police University of Technology and Logistics, Ministry of Public Security.

The above consultation, according to the Ministry of Public Security, is based on Article 45 of Decree No. 91/2017/ND-CP dated July 31, 2017 of the Government regulating general procedures for commendation proposal dossiers.
