Many practical activities in response to Workers' Month

In May 2025, propaganda activities on patriotism and the fighting tradition of the Vietnamese working class were widely organized. Especially, they focused on industrial zones and clusters where many young workers worked and lived.

In addition, grassroots organizations and associations also promote propaganda about labor laws and the rights of young workers such as the Youth Law, Trade Union Law, and Marriage and Family Law, to raise awareness and legal knowledge in daily life.

In order to meet the needs of living, studying and developing careers, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinates with units to organize vocational competitions, skill training, and cultural and sports exchanges in industrial parks. In particular, the program "Festival for young workers" is scheduled to take place on May 24 at the Cultural House of Tan Huong Commune, Chau Thanh District, with many practical care activities such as reproductive health counseling and gift giving to young workers in difficult circumstances.

In the context of integration, improving digital capacity is also one of the focuses of this year's Workers' Month. The "Digital Literacy" teams will guide young workers on information technology skills and access to online public services.

Organize legal consulting activities, guide and support union members, association members, and young workers to access and use legal aid, legal services, and perform administrative procedures; coordinate the establishment of free legal consulting groups for young workers. Organize young workers to participate in projects and youth tasks on innovation and application of science and technology in production and business; design and change models and styles, etc., contributing to improving product quality and production and business efficiency of enterprises and units.

Organize career counseling activities, support job referrals for unemployed young workers, young workers who want to change careers. Commend and reward young workers with many initiatives and creativity in labor and production.

Organize the recruitment of new union members who are young workers. Continue to build and develop the Union and Association organizations in non-state enterprises. Focus on organizing the evaluation of outstanding union members, handing over the list of outstanding union members who are workers to the Party, implementing activities to recruit party members and meeting with outstanding young party members who are workers.

Through practical activities, Workers’ Month 2025 in Tien Giang not only affirms the pioneering role of young workers in socio-economic development but also contributes to improving the material and spiritual life of the young workforce. This is an opportunity for young workers to look back on their contributions and continue their efforts to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.

The Standing Committee of Tien Giang Provincial Youth Union calls on all levels of the Youth Union, Association, and young workers in the area to actively respond and participate in the activities of Workers' Month 2025, contributing to creating a widespread influence and affirming the role of young workers in the new period.
