At the meeting, Ms. Huynh Thi Phuong Khanh - Chief Accountant of EVNGENCO2 reported the financial situation in 2024 and the first 6 months of 2025. Accordingly, the total electricity output of the Corporation in 2024 was 16,414 million kWh, exceeding the assigned plan, contributing to ensuring electricity supply for socio-economic development, meeting the load demand of the system. Healthy financial indicators, profitable production and business activities, preserving and developing equity capital invested at EVNGENCO2.

Mr. Tran Phu Thai - Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNGENCO2 pointed out a number of difficulties and problems in financial and accounting work and made recommendations to the Working Group on converting Trung Son Hydropower One Member Co., Ltd. into a dependent accounting unit, and at the same time requested competent authorities to consider promptly issuing specific guiding documents on the mechanism of prioritizing maximum mobilization in the operation of the power system and the electricity market, ensuring that power plants consume all the committed gas consumption volume according to the signed GSA Contract... In addition, the Corporation also proposed issues that still need to be consulted with competent authorities for handling when settling the equitization of the parent company EVNGENCO2.

The working group of the Ministry of Finance discussed and clarified the contents stated in the financial report of EVNGENCO2, acknowledged the positive results of the Corporation in financial work, business supervision, as well as accepted reasonable recommendations to synthesize and report to competent authorities for consideration.
At the end of the working session, the delegation highly appreciated EVNGENCO2's efforts in maintaining effective production and business activities, performing well in financial supervision, preserving and developing State capital. At the same time, the delegation requested EVNGENCO2 to continue to complete financial supervision reports for the parent company and member units, ensuring completeness, transparency and timeliness in financial management.

Through the working session, the Ministry of Finance and EVNGENCO2 agreed to strengthen coordination, information exchange, and remove difficulties, aiming to improve financial management efficiency, transparency, and sustainability in the operations of state-owned enterprises.
