Ho Chi Minh City Command ensures good life, regime and standards for soldiers.

On September 17, the Ho Chi Minh City Command held a conference to review the implementation of Decree 76/2016/ND-CP (Decree 76) of the Government regulating logistics material standards for active soldiers, workers and defense officials in the Ministry of National Defense.

Major General Pham Van Ram, Deputy Commander of Ho Chi Minh City Command chaired the conference.

In the 2016-2025 period, the City Party Committee and Command have thoroughly grasped, deployed and effectively implemented Decree 76; guided, inspected, urged and monitored the good management of logistics facilities, gradually improving the quality and effectiveness of logistics assurance work.

Units ensure good living conditions for soldiers and standard quantitative regimes, food rations, improve the quality of meals for officers and soldiers; receive and issue adequate military uniforms to subjects according to standards.

Health care for officers and soldiers, food hygiene and safety, and disease prevention have been well implemented. Units have invested in building new lighting systems, security systems, and conference room and meeting room equipment.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Pham Van Ram agreed with the content of the report and the opinions expressed at the conference. At the same time, he noted that in the coming time, it is necessary to promote the achieved results, thoroughly overcome the limitations, and continue to improve the quality of ensuring logistics standards for officers, soldiers, workers and defense officials.
