Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: "70 peak days - Accelerating, breaking through, making practical achievements to welcome the 14th National Party Congress"

This is an activity of special political significance at a time when the entire Party, people and army are looking towards the 14th National Congress - a milestone in strategic orientation for the country's development in the new era.

With the motto "High determination - Resolute action - Practical efficiency", the emulation movement is identified as the driving force to push the entire industry to strive to complete 100% of the tasks and targets in 2025 and the entire 2020-2025 term. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires agencies and units to continue to perfect the streamlined, effective and efficient organizational apparatus; promote decentralization, strongly shift from management to modern administration in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW; enhance the role and responsibility of setting an example of the leader.

At the same time, the whole industry focuses on strongly implementing the tasks of digital transformation, innovation, administrative reform and implementing Project 06; reviewing and removing legal bottlenecks related to scientific , technological and innovation activities in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.

In the work of institutional development, the Ministry proactively completes a synchronous policy system in the spirit of four strategic breakthroughs; ensures the progress and quality of draft laws, decrees and circulars, including the draft Law on Press (amended) and the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Publishing. Units are required to closely coordinate with relevant ministries and branches in the process of developing, appraising and submitting important documents.

In the cultural field, the Steering Committee focused on implementing the Politburo's new Resolution on breakthrough solutions to revive and develop Vietnamese culture. Each art unit must have at least one high-quality work on the theme of the Party, Uncle Ho, building and defending the Fatherland to celebrate the 14th Congress. Agencies and units continue to build an exemplary, disciplined and professional office cultural environment.

In the field of sports, the emulation movement aims for the highest goal at the 33rd SEA Games and international tournaments in 2025, striving to win many medals, contributing to the position of Vietnamese sports in the regional and continental arena. Mass sports activities continue to be expanded, creating a widespread health training environment.

The tourism industry focuses on implementing important growth targets, welcoming 22 million international visitors, serving 130 million domestic visitors, and earning total revenue of about 1 quadrillion VND. The Ministry requires promoting sustainable tourism development, green tourism, and heritage tourism; and accelerating digital transformation to enhance the tourist experience.

Regarding information and propaganda, the Steering Committee continues to spread the spirit of patriotic emulation, commend typical advanced examples; develop modern and professional press, and do a good job of orienting public opinion.

The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the industry to unite, be creative and make the greatest efforts to successfully complete all tasks and make practical achievements to welcome the 14th National Party Congress.
