At Ky Trinh Kindergarten (Ky Anh Town), the atmosphere these days is more vibrant than ever. The schoolyard is decorated with red flags with yellow stars and banners with slogans celebrating the great holiday. Classrooms are filled with the laughter and chatter of children during lessons singing songs about the homeland and the beloved President Ho Chi Minh. In particular, the school organized the program "The Homeland in My Heart" with many activities such as: dressing up as soldiers and guerrillas, performing arts, and a parade celebrating the Liberation Day of the South and the reunification of the country…

Teachers and students of Ky Trinh Kindergarten marched to celebrate the Liberation Day of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.

Ms. Vo Thi Kim Anh, Principal of Ky Trinh Kindergarten, shared: “Through activities commemorating the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, we want our students to feel proud of our national history and the noble sacrifices of our ancestors to win independence and freedom. The activities are designed to be age-appropriate, focusing on visual and lively elements so that the children can easily understand, remember, and feel them in the most natural way.”

One of the activities most loved by the students of Ky Trinh Kindergarten is the parade celebrating the Liberation Day of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country… The children dress up in soldier uniforms or shirts with the red flag and yellow star, carry flags and flowers… and parade together around the schoolyard to the sound of stirring music. Their faces radiate joy, and their eyes sparkle with pride.

The "Homeland in My Heart" program of Ky Trinh Kindergarten contributes to instilling in children a love for their homeland and country.

Ms. Phung Thi Ngan (Quyen Thuong residential area) - parent of Tran Khanh An (5-year-old class B, Ky Trinh Kindergarten) shared: “Initially, I was worried that my child was too young to understand historical events. But through the way the teachers explained and through practical activities, my child has learned that April 30th is a joyous day for the country and about the sacrifices of our ancestors. I believe that these activities will instill in her a love for her homeland and country.”

Patriotism is not only nurtured through vibrant group activities at school but is also subtly and profoundly evoked through unique artistic perspectives. This meaningful photo series, created by the Huong Khe District Youth Union and skillfully captured by photographer Tran Dinh Thong, depicts the innocent and pure moments of Chut ethnic minority students in Rao Tre village (Huong Lien commune).

These photographs not only touch the hearts of viewers with the natural beauty of the mountains and forests and the innocence of the children, but also contain a profound message about love for one's homeland. Images of children playing amidst majestic nature, engrossed in their studies at school... radiate a sense of pride and love for their homeland and country.

Sharing his thoughts on the idea and message behind the photo series, Tran Dinh Thong said: “I wanted to capture these authentic moments not only to preserve the beauty of childhood but also to convey a simple yet profoundly meaningful message: patriotism stems from the simplest things, from the most sincere feelings towards the place where one is born and raised. Most importantly, I hope these images will spread and further cultivate the spirit of patriotism in the hearts of every child.”

The radiant smiles and innocent, proud eyes of the children on the Day of Liberation of the South and Reunification of the Country are the clearest evidence of the success of instilling patriotism from their early years. This is also the solid foundation for them to grow up to be useful citizens, always carrying in their hearts love for their homeland and country.
