Fostering knowledge of collective economics

On the morning of August 22, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance (CPA) organized the opening of a training course to update knowledge on the collective economic sector for members of the Steering Committee for collective economic development at the provincial and district levels in 2023.

At the training course, the trainees listened to agricultural experts introduce the special topics of new-style cooperatives, tasks and solutions to strengthen and develop cooperatives in the market economy. The focus was on emphasizing a number of issues on identifying new-style cooperatives, characteristics of new-style cooperatives, tasks and solutions to strengthen and develop cooperatives, etc.

Through the training course, students will grasp and understand the basic knowledge about the position, role, nature and characteristics of new-style cooperatives as well as new points in the revised Law on Cooperatives, thereby creating a basis for innovation in thinking, consulting and supporting the promotion of cooperative development in the area. At the same time, apply the acquired knowledge to build programs and plans suitable for the task of consolidating and building effective new-style cooperative models.

After attending the training course, the students went on a field trip to some typical new cooperative models in Nghe An province.
