Four major universities invest 'trillions' to build facilities in Bac Ninh

Specifically, the project of Hanoi University of Science and Technology branch in Bac Ninh was introduced by Bac Ninh province in 2 locations: Subdivision No. 12 of Lim urban area expansion (Tien Du district) with an area of about 13 hectares; the second location belongs to subdivision No. 11 (Tien Du district), an area of about 18 hectares planned as training and research land with convenient connection to key traffic routes and Hanoi capital.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Bac Ninh branch, is building an adaptive human resource training center, with the goal of training university and college students specializing in high-tech engineering such as IT, digital transformation, AI, to meet the needs of businesses in Bac Ninh province and neighboring provinces.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The Hanoi Medical University's facility project was introduced by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province at a location in the Bac Ninh science and technology application training and research area (Subdivision No. 12, Lim urban area expansion, Tien Du district), with an area of about 30 hectares.

The project has a total investment of about 3,150 billion VND, including the following items: Training area, hospital and high-tech medical research institutes contributing to the development of medical human resources with sufficient quantity and strong quality. Of which, the student population is about 3,000 people, the hospital practice scale is about 1,000 beds.

The Hanoi Foreign Trade University campus project is located in Dong Nguyen Ward, Tu Son City (Bac Ninh) with an area of over 33 hectares. The site is currently preparing for bidding to implement the project planning step according to the planning. The project is expected to start construction in early 2027, with the cost of implementing phase 1 of about 1,150 billion VND.

Foreign Trade University

The project of the Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment in Dong Nguyen Ward, Tu Son City (Bac Ninh). Phase 1, the project has a total estimated investment of nearly 670 billion VND.

The school has implemented and completed the contents according to the approved budget, including: 1/500 planning, topographic survey, current status, environmental protection plan, geological survey, feasibility study report, and basic design appraisal at the Ministry of Construction.

Recently, the People's Council of Bac Ninh province passed a Resolution approving the policy of supporting 720 billion VND from the provincial budget to invest in the construction of Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, Foreign Trade University, and Training Facility - under Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Bac Ninh.
